SCHOLASTIC AREAS

• Learning will be made fascinating, pleasurable and activity-oriented at all levels.
• Monthly remarks will be uploaded for parental review of the child’s performance.
• Day-wise Monthly Planner with mention of co-scholastic periods.
• Comprehensive Activity Oriented Teaching through PowerPoint presentations, vocabulary building etc, focusing on ‘Learning by Doing’.
• Focus on LSRW—Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing Skills.
• Multiple Skills like Thinking, Oratory and Mental Aptitude Exercises through various classroom activities will be practiced to reinforce an innate sense of discovery in everything that is taught.
• Participation of the students will be encouraged through activities such as Drawing and Colouring, Writing, Fun Games, Dancing, Singing, Puzzles, Flashcards, and Conversations.
• Poems and stories will be dramatised using expressive actions and fun tools.
• Vocabulary Enhancement and Stage Expositor Skills through theme-based Assemblies. The focus will be on developing communication skills and reinforcing a child’s innate instincts to bring ‘Knowledge in Action’ to the forefront.
• Oral Speaking Skills sessions will be held regularly to make the students learn the concepts covered and enhance their communication and literary skills.
• Nature Walks, Educational Trips, Field Excursions, Group Activities, Fun Races etc will be conducted to develop a sense of openness towards the world.

PRIMARY STAGE (JKG TO V)

• Day-wise Monthly Planner with Mention of Co-scholastic periods for Classes I and II.
• Monthly remarks will be uploaded for parental review of the child’s performance.
• Comprehensive Activity Oriented Teaching and Focus on ‘Learning by Doing’.
• Focus on all aspects of every subject for the development of Oratory, Logical and Analytical skills like Creative & Cursive Writing, Reading, Comprehension, Elocution, Quizzes, Experiments, Language Clubs, Maths and EVS Educational Games, Workshops, Field Visits, Science, Maths and Computer Lab Classes and Mental Aptitude exercises.
• A thematic approach is designed to stimulate the children through various interactive sessions and activities. Usage of activities to make abstract concepts real.
• Extensive use of technology aids to supplement classroom teaching.
• Teaching and understanding concepts through e-learning using tools like PPTs, worksheets, graphics etc.
• Class project work calls for mass participation. An equal emphasis will be laid on developing a strong sense of individuality.
• Regular diction classes will be held to improve Grammar, Phonics, Pronunciation, Confidence and Personality.
• Field Trips and Educational Excursions will make learning fun.
• The use of newspaper articles, quizzes, crosswords and other learning tools will enhance general awareness.
• Oral Speaking Skills Sessions will be held on a daily basis for Classes to reinforce students’ learning of the concepts covered and enhance their Communication and Literary skills.

CO-SCHOLASTIC AREAS

• Well-defined play arena for fun activities like playing with building blocks, jigsaw puzzles, sandpit, ball pool, bounce back swings etc.
• Social and Emotional Development through competitions, group discussions, nature walks, helpmate projects, excursions, trips and more.
• Intra and Inter Class Competitions.
• Activity Time - showcasing educational and fun movies.
• Physical Development through outdoor activities (cricket, basketball, yoga, badminton, fun races, etc) and indoor ones (table tennis, chess, ludo, carrom and more).
• Performing Arts skilling through singing, participating in visual art and craft activities and dancing.
• Information Technology will be taught to students to make them tech savvy.
• Environmental Conversation will be taught through nature walks, creating simulations on nature-related concepts, the display of PPTs on the conservation of natural resources etc.
• Observances of all festivals, whether religious or secular, will be marked by Special Assemblies to promote tolerance and love for all races and creeds.
• Theme-based assemblies will be conducted on special days like Earth Day, Mother’s Day, International Language Day etc wherein students will be encouraged to come up with known and unknown information and facts about the events.
• Birthday Celebrations—to make the child feel special, birthdays will be scrolled on the School portal system.
• Awards and Accolades will be given to deserving and result-oriented students. Various categories of awards like appreciation awards and many more will be presented at the Annual Prize Distribution Function.
